This section will be devoted to
anything that the church and the local community are involved with.
This could range anywhere from the "Hope House" to soup kitchen
volunteers. If it's community oriented you'll find it here.

WITH
SPECIAL THANKS to Pine Grove Church
Members, Words can never express our gratitude for our use of Pine
Grove’s Hope House. You have angels everywhere that gave us comfort
and peace. We’ll never forget your angels with hair of white who met
us here and said “we welcome you- come rest and spend the night”. We
were so tired, weary, without much hope for Mark who was critical from
an auto accident. We’re going home today, Our love to all of you for
your prayers, Christian ministry and giving us hope.
God
Bless!! Linda Theile, mother of Mark Mayton
THANKS
FOR EVERYTHING – This
extra special thank you note sent to you today holds more appreciation
than any words can say, for you’re among the nicest people we have ever
known, and you’ll never be forgotten for the thoughtfulness you’ve
shown. Dear Pine Grove Church, Thank you so very much for the prays and
the love from all of you. Bless this Hope House for everyone.
Donna and
Mark Mayton
Hope House
HOPE HOUSE is an outreach ministry of Pine Grove
United Methodist Church. This bright, warm and comfortable house
is available to families who have loved ones in local hospitals due to
an illness or injury.
Our desire is that Hope House will provide a "home away from home" to
out-of town families and offer hope and solace to them during a
difficult time.
Hope House was consecrated into our ministry on February 24, 2002 and
is located adjacent to our church facilities.
Additional information can be obtained by contacting Pine Grove United
Methodist Church, telephone 765-2569
