Hello from the Before and After School Program BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAM Our unique program is open to children in kindergarten through 5th grade and is designed to provide the necessary childcare before school begins and after school ends while at the same time offering ongoing academic support. We will provide a safe, loving and supportive Christian atmosphere. Children will have a variety of both indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) activities to choose from each day. These activities allow your child the opportunity to use up some of that excess energy they have been storing all day, so they are ready to unwind in the evening, allowing you to spend the quality time that you need with your child. Serving Students in grades K – 5th grade at Clemmons, Marvin Ward and South Fork Elementary Schools 1130 Jonestown Road Winston-Salem, NC. 27103 Telephone: 336-765-9205 Registration Fees First Child: $50.00 Each Additional Child: $25.00 This is a one-time fee that must be paid at the time of registration. This fee is non-refundable. Families that have paid this fee for the previous year will not be charged again for the current year. Yearly Activity Fee Each Child: $30.00 The yearly activity fee is due on the first day of Before and After school care. This fee helps pay for breakfast, snacks, art supplies and perishable items consumed throughout the year. Monthly Tuition Per Child Mornings Only: $65.00 Afternoon Only: $130.00 Before and After: $160.00 The tuition is due at the beginning of each month. There is no discount for absences due to illness, vacations, school closings, etc. The tuition fee holds a place in the program for your child. Discounts are available for families that have multiple children enrolled. Contact the program director for details. School Calendar The Before and After School Care Program operates on the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Public School system schedule. We are closed when the schools are closed. The afternoon program will open early on days that school is let out early Daily Schedule Mornings 7:00 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. The program starts at 7:00 a.m. The morning program is designed to allow your child quiet time to wake up and prepare for their busy day ahead. Breakfast will be served until 8:00 a.m. The bus arrives at 8:10 a.m. The Before and After School room is equipped with games, books, toys, a television and areas for arts and crafts for the children’s enjoyment. Afternoons 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Nutritious snacks are provided for children enrolled in the afternoon program . Children are encouraged to complete homework assignments and assistance is provided. The outdoor playground is available if weather permits in addition to the Before and After School Care Room and an indoor basketball court. Children are supervised at all times by program staff and volunteers. The program closes promptly at 6:00 p.m.Inclement Weather Policy
The program will be closed on days that the Winston-Salem, Forsyth County School systems are closed due to inclement weather. The morning program will be open at the regular time when schools are delayed. The afternoon program will open early on days the school is let out early. However, if the weather is bad enough we may close early to ensure the safety of the children and staff. You will be notified if the program plans to close early. Attendance Policy Roll is taken every morning and afternoon. Please call in advance if your child will not be attending.
